Fú Zhōu Cān Guǎn Restoran Fook Chew

Not an honest restaurant. I had lunch or dinner at different restaurants in this town previously. Normally the amount for 2 persons meals in the range of RM40-RM60. This restaurant charged RM89. We was surprised with the price and asked for bill. The boss was issued a bill for a total RM89 without listing any meals! Btw we ordered all in small portion, 1) Bitter guard fish head 2) Red wine chicken 3) Fook Chew fried noodles 1person 4) 2 bowls white rice.

3 star food but 5 star price. First time dinner in this restaurant, menu without price, no itemized receipt, cost RM165 for 5 pax, will not come again.

Restaurant has been operating for 30+ years. Cook is the lady boss, very friendly. Authentic Hock Chiew dishes, good portion, good taste at good price. Restaurant has a comfortable ambience though not air conditioned. Not crowded after 3pm, can enjoy peace and good service. Better call before you reach if you intend to have dinner here. Shop may close earlier than schedule for good reasons

The restaurant is very obvious. Just beside the main road. Before the shell petrol station. Guess you will hardly miss it. There are some parking spaces around. But you might need some turn. If you are looking the hock chiew food then you can considering here.
