Travelling to Italy and France enjoyed (presumably) the best world cuisine. After Biarritz headed Barcelona to ship to Sardinia. On my way on highway did stay for a lunch in for me no name village in no name restaurant. Inside it had a touch of a Michelin restaurant, but what I got for 18 Euro just killed me: bottle of fantastic red wine, water, Spagetti with a Source one would swallow its own tongue, then beef, so tender and source, my goodness ! When I had spaghetti I asked the beautiful waitress if it is not a michelin restaurant. I was not understood. Then I did simple thing: cancelled Sardinia (for a while) and headed Madrid. Spain, you must be exceptional!
Had a quick meal here whilst driving through and seeing the Castle Javier. I took the menu of the day, same as menu de jour in French bistros. There were four choices on each course with wine. When I say wine they give you the bottle and you just drink what you want! I had an amazing duck dish with grapes and a sweet jus. The service was attentive and entirely in Spanish. We got through easily without knowing much Spanish at all.
Fantastic service and very quick. Polite and great place for a lunch stop. 18 euros for 3 courses and wine. Would definitely go back

I has been before taking a coffee with some British friends and looks OK but this time I stop for a lunch. I take daily Menu and was OK. Green salad was a little bit small but cooked lamb was really imazing. I can't describe how good was cooked lamb with snails. Price was 18€ that was OK based on portion of lamb but not on the green salad but as combined menu looks OK. For sure I will come back
