Tony and Marta are wonderful hosts. Friendly and outgoing, switching between languages easily. The atmosphere is spacious and open with a beautiful fountain in the middle, just as if you were sitting in lovely private courtyard, yet with small alcoves for dining privacy. Three hungry guys stopped here for dinner. All three of us have been around, love Mexican food, and eat it fairly often The food was OK, but not great. Salsa was pretty nice, with good flavor and a nice kick, chips were OK. Beer selection was good and it was cold and served in cold glasses. Two of us ordered pork verde. The ice cold horchata drink is pretty good the food is tasty the fried ice cream is delicious nice place to bring family or a date enjoy!
Bland tasting food. Waitress was rushing us, almost pushing us out the door. The place was empty, only 1 other table with 2 people were there.
The staff are really nice and the food is great.prices are reasonable.

The food is good and well-presented. You are welcome to stay, visit and drink in the artwork and atmosphere as long as you like. Update: Tony and Marta have retired and the younger generation are now expertly running El Superior. Service continues to be excellent and the food, if possible, is even better. A family tradition that continues to serve with pride and excellence.
Authentic surroundings ... beautiful needlepoint tablecloths ... large meal portions and flavorful entree's ... also loved the fresh, homemade salsa ... friendly service. Thank you!
