Country Sunflower Mini Mart - Yerington

This diner is a fantastic spot for a cozy meal, serving breakfast and lunch only. Peg, the owner, has consistently delivered top-notch quality and generous portions over the years. The staff is friendly and always greets you with a smile. There is a convenient small store next door, which is quite handy.

I've eaten breakfast and lunch. tons delicious food and the place is always packed with locals who know that eating is great here.

As the norm..our food was great! Our waitess/server verified the picky eater got exactly what he wanted for his meal. I came home with leftovers. Love the beer battered onion rings. You can have tater tots as a side as well. The Country Sunflower has a small store and they sell the delish sausage they server in the restaurant (8 links to a pound). Store is open into the evening. The restaurant only serves breakfast and lunch (they close at 2 or 2:30).

Too many great meals to choose from. We always end up taking out of towners here. The French dip is my currant favorite.

With a small local Cafe, open from I believe 8am to 2pm, some of the best home cooked food you'll get in the Mason valley. There is also a gas station, and small convenience store open from 8am till 7pm I believe.
