Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with a loud reprimand from the manager. The customer service was very poor and the cleanliness left much to be desired. We considered leaving because of the lack of respect shown to us. Additionally, the dishes we received were lacking in quantity and not prepared or presented properly.
We were in Yeppoon on Good Friday so it wasn't too easy to find somewhere for lunch. One fish chip shop was absolutely packed and I didn't fancy queuing for ages. Off the main street we found a Subway, so in we went. We decided to share a turkey panini. It was plenty for two. Since we had different preferences for toppings, they put our choices on opposite ends of the sandwich so we could both enjoy our preferences. Good value and helpful service.
I went in to have some breaky before an appointment, and the two staff that were working were both very bubbly and happy - asking what I had planned for my day etc. My order was completed quickly and correctly and was delicious as always.
Very disappointed in the service this evening. Asked what topping were wanted. Requested “a little bit of this and that” only to get the normal amount. What’s the point of asking and then not being listened to? Wrapped subs then realised he didn’t put the meat on them so had to unwrap them again. Customer walked through the door behind us and kid mumbles “for f%*k sake” loud enough for us to hear. Don’t work customer service if you can’t be friendly.
