What User doesn't like about Jolt:
We ordered a special value breakfast as we were on a budget. Sad reality was that the breakfast was not what we ordered. We ordered mugs of coffee got a small cup and it was cold, ordered runny soft fried eggs, got rock hard eggs and over fried bacon. Overall not a good experience here. View all feedback.
Manager lady (short dark hair with glasses) was absolutely wonderful, so friendly, constantly on the go, busy doing everything, jumping between serving, to coffee station and table service her other staff should really step up a bit and give her more of a hand ! The food and coffee was excellent. we'll definitely be back when we visit yeppoon again,.
To start off, paying $20 for two drinks was absurd. The juice tasted terrible, like something you would get at a gas station. There was only a small amount of juice with mostly foam, and it was warm. The service was slow and it took forever to receive our drinks. As for my French toast, it was swimming in syrup. After eating, I ended up getting sick.
We had breakfast of eggs benny and vege stack with english breakfast tea. The meals were tasty and lots of ham with the benny. My only disappointment is I don’t expect a pot of hot water and a tea bag at places like this. Good service and choice of inside or outside dining.
We were told there would be a long wait and there was. By the time breakfast arrived we had well and truely finished our drinks and would have liked more but there was still a long wait for second drinks. Breakfast was good though, plentiful and well presented. Waitresses friendly and helpful despite being extremely busy.
For Breakfast at Yeppoon, I struggled to find a cafe that was open and serving more than just coffee! I've read of others experiencing the same dearth of cafes/restaurants in Yeppoon and yes, it's true! Almost every where was closed last night and the same this morning! Another cafe serving only coffee directed me to Jolt Cafe where I chose Salmon Stack with smoked salmon, spinach, 2 poached eggs, feta and mushrooms a perfect breakfast! Very tasty and dining al fresco in the awesome early morning weather! 24° at 7am with a light breeze. Highly recommended.
