We arrived very late for the carvery and there was still lots of meat and a large variety perfectly cooked vegetables on offer. The staff were friendly and engaging. Thoroughly enjoyed a Sunday Roast at The Great Lyde. A good selection of vegetables, including peas which you never normally get at a carvery, delicious turkey, cauliflower cheese and crisp but fluffy roast potatoes. The Biscoff Cheesecake was outstanding! The staff were super friendly, very polite and attentive and the place was nice and clean. A great family local pub, with lovely food which is good value for money. Kid-friendliness: Often have a bouncy castle for the kids!
