Tucked into the back-left corner of the gas station but also accessible via their drive thru, this is the best Mexican food I’ve had in a while! 5 stars across the board for pricing, portions, hospitality, freshness, variety, you name it! This Mexican dude has approved this place! We were sceptical at first but then, I can tell the food is great, you can use the drive thru or park and go inside the gas station store.
Awesome portion sizes and love being able to call in my order and pickup at the drive thru. The hot sauce has good heat and flavor.
Everybody I have ever talk to said it's the best! Got a burrito yesterday and they were not wrong, and it was huge!

I cannot say enough about El Rey Burro. If I could give this location ten stars, I would. I’ve been going here for years both at their old and new location. The staff are so friendly and cool with love. My favorite menu item is the steak burrito with green salsa. It may be weird that the location is in a gas station, but from a local who has lived in Yelm my whole life, this is where all the locals eat. Pop in and give them a try. Parking: Plenty of free parking in the gas station parking lot.
