I experienced excessively high pre-authorization charges ex... read more I advise against using the pay-at-pump option at the White Oak Station/Shell in Yellville, Arkansas. I experienced excessively high pre-authorization charges exceeding $150. Even though my actual fuel purchase was processed within minutes, I am still waiting for the pre-authorization charge of $153.27 to clear, which has now been pending for over 48 hours. This situation is preventing me from accessing those funds. Unfortunately, the store manager was unhelpful and suggested I simply wait for the pending charge to resolve itself. This is unreasonable and should definitely be looked into.
