The Rock Bar and Grill

Had the family for lunch, lovely out look over river, had a little wait for meals but was a sunday so in no hurry, lovely meal very helpful staff, would recommend

Went for lunch & shared the entree mixed platter of rib, calamari, oysters, & salad. While we are an older couple we couldn't eat it all. The rib was huge & the view was great. 2 drinks & this for $38.00 in a lovely setting was better than a counter lunch. Will we come again? Yes indeed.

The good:*good for groups because you can all go up to the bar and pay separately when you order*the menu is pretty standard fare so fussy people will find something they want to eat*meals are cheap*beautiful location*nice cakes and all $6the bad:*basic pub menu*we waited for meals and then they didn't come out together*noone liked their food much. My schnitzel was "firebreather" flavour and not even the slightest bit spicy. One girl got the wrong dish, maybe I did too?*you feel like you are at the kids table. The top storey was being used for a function, so we sat underneath with the kids play equipment and you could tell they were having a blast up at the function*cocktails pretty expensive - average $20 eachin short: OK for a group of fussy eaters who don't want to spend too much money. No good for a couple.

This place has the best view of the river but in my view it is not enough to be the best in town. The food was average. The costumer service is good only if it is not that much busy. When it is busy you have to be patient if you go there.

Had a table of 10. Waited 40mins to order. Meals came an hour later and was not worth the price we paid. Under staffed and over priced! 1 waiter was a pleasure to deal with but the rest were useless. DO NOT GO if you want a quality meal or service. Not impressed!!!!
