The restaurant starts serving dinner at 9 pm so i had to wait to order so i asked them what they have so they served me a nice tuna salad and fish which though it had lots of cheese but the fish was fresh so for me the food was ok and also after having the food and two glasses of beer with one bottle of water i paid just 12 euro

We were staying at the Hotel Avenida for a couple of nights. Normally, we do not eat in the restaurant of the hotel in which we are staying, but like to look further afield at other local restaurants. However, if you ever find yourself in Yecla looking for somewhere to have lunch on a Monday, you are likely to find that Aurora is your only option as just about every other restaurant, cafe and bar is closed! So, having walked the streets of Yecla for a half hour or so looking for somewhere to lunch, we returned to the Aurora. I am pleased, though, that we did, as the restaurant has a pleasant ambience, the host (who speaks some English) is genial and the food is good. It was probably quite expensive for a Menu del Dia, but we enjoyed the food and washed it down with a very nice bottle of local wine. Very enjoyable!
