Butcher 128 - Yarraville

Awesome to have a place like this as the local! An ode to the old Butcher shop, from the front signage to the refrigerated cabinets.

This is a great little local placeWe knew it was going to be good when we saw that it was very busy on a weekday morning.

It looks like a tiny shop from the front door but then opens up into a lovely bright space beyond the first doorway.

We were takwn here by our air bnb hosts for breakfast one Sunday. The cafe itself is situated in an old butcher's shop, hence the name! White subway tiled walls and exposed copper waterpipes added to the steampunk look. The breakfast was stunning, and the coffee was perfectly served...so much so that I needed to have 2!!Staff were very attentive and welcoming. The food, location and service were top notch! Keep up the good work!

It really is a secret gem and yet it's up there with the best Yarraville cafes!Roberts Street is not somewhere l would normally head to for coffee as it is out on the western frontier edge of Yarraville, on the way to Brooklyn.The beautifully renovated suburban butcher shop of yesteryear provides a great atmosphere for coffee and it's very tasty menu.The food is good with generous servings and the service is friendly and efficient.
