Not what i expected from a country pub, the staff were really friendly, and the menu had plenty of variety. It contributes to a bit of a buzz in the main street of an evening. Surrounds are typical of a family Bistro etc but suit the experience.

I had a pleasant experience in this hotel's bar and restaurant. Staff were all welcoming, helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. The menu was rich with a variety of pub food and some international cuisine such as curry. The waiting time was pleasantly short and we had staff's attention and care all the time. Highly recommended . Suggestion: Try beef korma curry.

Can't fault the meal or service, recommend place for dinner.

Fantastic food, love the zucchini parmigiana!Tom and the staff are super helpful and the facilities are lovely. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Dining with dogs outside in the beer garden is an added bonus

Staff were very professional and polite .it was good to see they were compliant with wearing masks and checking that people were vaccinated food was very good bar was very good and the bar man was very good and friendly I must say thankyou to all staff in kitchen and bar man whom is new to the job I forgot his name keep up the good work I will definitely be back next holidays cheers
