we were pleasantly surprised by gaia. it looks nothing special from outside, but it has a really nice ambiente and good service inside. there was a good number of vegan options on the menu and we enjoyed the rice and tofu dishes that we had (a Jamaican jerk and a mexican.) the vegan chocolate cake for dessert was delicious. Wouldn't give even a full star but this was the only option. The menu covered a lot of types of cuisine but not much variety within each. There were fusion options, but if you're looking for authentic Thai or Indian, there's not much. Best place in Western Nova Scotia without question! The variety on the menu was great and the ordered dishes were full of taste, wonderfully presented and served by large staff. Ordered the amazing Thai Street Fries, Butter Chicken and Butter Chicken Poutine. Everyone is very happy and will be back every time we come to Yarmouth.
The cozy atmosphere made our experience of eating in the Gaia pleasant and wonderful. The staff was friendly, the menu options are different and varied, and our choices were perfectly prepared and presented. Everything was great, and I would enjoy dining our weekly place when I lived in the area. The Crème brûlée cheesecake was over decades and divine. A must for all, from vegans to non vegans, from a romantic date to a family trip. There's something for everyone.
The fish and chips are the real offer, the big fish and chips are an absolute festival! The fish pieces you get with your meal are so big, so fresh and so crispy! Definitely one of the best I ever had! So fill and a great value for what you get.
The crispy tofu is so good. Had the Ruck Bowl Cos I really like hot wicy and I wasn't disappointed! Start with the (vegan) nachos and they were also a success. Would recommend!
Great dinner in Yarmouth. Fast service with a diverse menu that explores a large variety of tastes. Got the jerk chicken bowl and I was not disappointed. Very convenient to the ferry.
