Jack's Outback - Yarmouth

Cool place and great staff. Food was mediocre however. Was hoping for something great here and the food was not that. Very bland breakfast and less than expected portion size. Not going to rush back here. Sad as it is a really cool location and building.

Omgosh this place is amazing. The staff is always attentive more than 1 waitress to make sure you are all set. The popover with scrambled eggs,ham,tomatoes,and home fries was the best thing I have ever eaten. Eggs so fresh,tomato fresh. Popover fluffy and so much flavor. We so enjoyed our breakfast. A+

We came back this year excited as we have had delightful and delicious meals before. This year although the food was good the service was awful! The wait time to get our breakfast was ridiculous considering they were slow. The waitress didn’t understand their menu. I ordered hash that came with toast and potatoes. I asked for English muffin toast that was homemade in house) as I had on previous visits. She charged me and delivered an English muffin not the house toast. It was raw, not what I ordered and I sent back. They took extremely long and forgot to bring back toasted. Then they charged me extra for something I didn’t order or wanted. When I went to explain the waitress she chose to argue with me. Extremely disrespectful, rather than just remove the additional charge for something I didn’t order or want. Very disappointing and the two dollars cost them this review and a return customer.

Almost a year after the owner of the cafe changed, changes are now noticeable; the food has become a little different from what it was. I can't say whether this is good or bad. I was disappointed not to see my favorite Benedict blt on the menu. but the atmosphere was still preserved of the same place where we used to come for breakfast.

Stopped in for Saturday brunch around 10:30 and was seated right away. Drink orders taken and brought quickly. Started with a pop over, which was good. Breakfast was delivered relatively quickly and hot. Pancake batter wasn't great but blueberries were fresh. Eggs were prepared well, toast was well buttered and sides good. Chicken sausage was a good alternative meat option, very tasty. Would recommend
