I was staying at a lodge in the area for my partner's birthday, so I booked a table at this restaurant for Saturday evening. All I can say is excellent, excellent, and excellent! The food, service, and atmosphere were everything you could want for a delightful dining experience. At 58 years old, I've eaten in many places across the UK, and I can honestly say this was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. The starter, main course, and dessert were simply out of this world. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, and the price was surprisingly reasonable. For two people, we enjoyed starters, mains, dessert, three pints, and two ciders—all for just £66.00! Kudos to the Wheatsheaf! I highly recommend this place to anyone. It's a definite 10 out of 10 from me. Thank you, Simon.

We're on vacation in the area and decided to sample the food here, and it was absolutely delicious—10/10! I ordered the chicken Kiev, my husband had the curry, and my daughter had the chicken nuggets; her only complaint was that they vanished too fast! The staff were wonderful and very welcoming. We will definitely return before heading home.
