This place has the best steak in town! The may be a little pricey, but the portions are absolutely huge. Don't be turned off when you walk in, it does look like a traditional old steakhouse carpet, no windows, very dark. But the food was excellent. Unlike other reviewers, we didn't wait very long for our food. Obviously you have to wait long enough for your steak to be made, and there is a salad course, but everything seemed very prompt. The waitress even apologized when she was held up at another table. We went on a Saturday night too, which is usually pretty busy, and had no problems.

First time ever to this place. We weren't aware of reservations being needed (this is Yankton, South Dakota, after all). There were only two waitresses working... read more First time ever to this place. We weren't aware of reservations being needed (this is Yankton, South Dakota, after all). There were only two waitresses working because the others and the bartender felt they made more money staying home (that's what we were told). Anyway, the waitress asked if we minded eating in the bar. I thought it was a great idea. We were the only ones in the bar, we had comfy seats and we were waited on and served in a timely fashion. The steaks were perfect . The prices were what you'd expect for a good meal and we tipped accordingly. We might not go back every night, but we will be back every now and then.

I'll go tonight!
