I’m visiting Kansas for work, ended up staying in Lincoln KS to be closer to my project. Stayed in downtown and found Frankie’s, everyone was very welcoming and great small town feeling! I got the chicken fried steak plate and it was delicious! The owner was very nice, I recommend this place View all feedback.
What Glitter Gold Adventures doesn't like about Frankie's:
Biscuits and gravy.. the worst I ever had. They weren't even Biscuits . Chewy and sweet . Bacon was hardly cooked. Scrambled eggs were just broken and smeared around a little. ROAD KILL would have been better. Don't know who you people are that said it was good. View all feedback.
I love this little place! Went in for brunch today and got a chance to look over the new menus and it looks fantastic! We got the country fried steak meal and a breakfast sandwich and both plates were large portions and DELICIOUS. The homemade gravy and biscuits were some of the best I've ever had. We ordered iced coffees with our meals and they were absolutely perfectly sweetened. Very clean, very friendly place with the small town vibe I love. It really feels like they genuinely care about your food and your experience. 10 of out of 10 across the board! Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20
We have eaten at this location a few times. It is located in downtown Lincoln and is historical building, handicap parking is available right in front. Handicapp entrance is available upon request, if you can't come in, just give them a call, they will come and help. They offer take out and curb side pick up, inside the dinning room is spacious, bathrooms are clearly marked. They have brand new black silverware and it's gorgeous. If you have rambunctious children they have an area you can pretty private seating if you ask. The menu has recently been update and it has a wonderful selection of items. My favorite is the sweet fire chicken my mom's favorite is the biscuits and gravy but my kids love the buttermilk chicken. They have a nice selection of alcohol, local beers and more, customer service is always so nice there, happy people, I think it's all family working there. The bakery always has a nice selection muffins especially, they do beautiful cake custom orders, brown butter banana cheesecake bread is the biggest family favorite, but they make almost anything you want. Nice to have a place to visit that has so many options in town. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20

Wonderful biscuits and gravy. Great service. Clean and perfect for a Sunday brunch.
Excellent food and service!! Brisket torta with fries! I'll be back for sure, hopefully soon!
