Yankalilla Hotel Bistro

We were on our way "home" on a wet evening and decided to stop in for an early meal. It was almost full AND easy to see why. The food was VERY good, lots to choose from and reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Went with a large group of family. Atmosphere lovely and warm inside. However there were a total of 2 vegetarian options. One was a basic salad... in 12 degree weather in Winter???I ended up just having a bowl of wedges. Not real good in this day and age...

The pub is open good hours serving food till 9pm. Doesn't always have the quickest service which has at least on one occasion cost them a round of desserts. Their grill items have always been to a very high standard both the individual steaks or the huge mixed grill.Good value for money.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The menu is extensive so lots of choice. The meals are good and the price range is good. A nice atmosphere and there is music most Friday nights for those who want to stay a little longer. They also operate a courtesy bus which can be handy as there is no public transport in the area.,

If you want good honest pub food with excellent friendly service this is the place for you. I particularly loved the entree fresh prawns.
