The effort put into maintaining authenticity is commendable. I particularly enjoyed the Moik (rice dishes) and the delicious barbecue dishes. If you enjoy rich and flavorful food, this place is definitely worth trying. Fusion drinks with Wa liquor are also available, offering a light, sweet, and refreshing taste with a powerful kick. The atmosphere is simple yet stylish, with references to the restaurant's name throughout. The wall art is even photos taken by one of the owners in their hometown. However, the ceiling space could use some additional decoration to prevent it from feeling empty or to serve as soundproofing. Overall, Root is a great spot to relax and enjoy excellent food and drinks.

The... read more Traditional Wa Ethnic Food! I love the taste. New dishes to try and quite different from the traditional Burmese dishes. They use less oil, so more healthy. The ingredients are fresh. The restaurant is clean and the staffs are very patience, very accommodating, and helpful. The dish portions are a bit small for the prices they are charged. But if you consider the taste and the environment the restaurant provides, in my opinion, it is worth the money. I recommend this restaurant if you haven't try it out yet.
