What User doesn't like about Chocolate Drops & Tearooms:
I've been to Chocolate drops in the past and they were SO unhelpful. (Wouldn't put the ham and cheese on seperate sides of a ham and cheese toastie so two small kids could share). Circumstances were such on this occasion we ended up here again. Well it hasn't improved. Customer service is still poor with little enthusiasm from the kids on the counter. Food was overpriced and so basic that and untrained toddler could... View all feedback.
Love this quaint tea-room in the National Park, you just can't beat grabbing a coffee or ice-cream and watch the kangaroos hop past or a quick visit to see the koalas.
My family and I love coming in as the service is always friendly. highly recommend
Love the Devonshire teas, your scones r beautiful, we are locals in seatrees, two rocks and use the yearly pass. love the Park, the Inn and Chocolate Drops. locals supporting local businesses. ????????????
Honestly disgusted by how myself and two friends were treated by a staff member at Chocolate Drops today. After waiting 30 minutes for our order of drinks and a scone my friend asked if they had forgotten us, which was met with yelling. After waiting another 10 minutes our drinks finally arrived with the lady accusing my friend of lying about the 30 minute wait because she has “never forgotten an order”. When my friend produced an online receipt from her bank account showing the time we had placed our order she still denied the 30 minute wait and was very confrontational. The cafe was empty at this time. The drinks and scones weren’t redeeming either. Just because you’re in a National Park and will always have business doesn’t mean you can’t take pride in your work and treat customers with respect.
Lovely spot to enjoy a delicious, fluffy scone and tea after a walk. Disappointed in the unnecessary use of plastic plastic disposable knife, plastic single serve container for cream and disposable plastic packaging for jam. I try so hard to minimise the use of plastic and this breaks my heart. I wouldn't have come here had I known and I will not be coming back sadly.
