Thai Payu - YAMBA
Thai Payu
Description
At [Restaurant Name], diners find themselves navigating a spectrum of experiences. While the flavorful Thai cuisine, including must-tries like Prawn Kati and Pad Thai, delights many, service inconsistencies overshadow the dining experience. Some guests have faced long waits for takeout and dine-in orders, even during off-peak hours, leading to lukewarm meals and considerable frustration. However, the restaurant's accommodating staff, particularly in addressing seating concerns, has been warmly appreciated. As a BYO establishment with an early closing time, prospective patrons are advised to make reservations and come prepared for potential delays.

Feedback
This was our second visit to this restaurant and once again, the service was exceptional. We were originally seated at a table next to a large group with 8 children, but when we asked to move due to my mother's hearing impairment, the staff happily accommodated our request without any issues. It may have been a small gesture, but it meant a lot to us. As for the food, we ordered the Prawn Kati, Pad See Ew with Chicken, and Pad Thai with Prawns, all of which were delicious. It's worth noting that the restaurant is BYO as they do not sell alcohol, but there is a bottle shop conveniently located across the road. We also observed that the restaurant closes quite early (turning customers away around 8pm), so it's advisable to make a reservation or not wait until the last minute for a walk-in.
We made a reservation for a 5:30pm seating to take my mom out for a mother-daughter dinner. We were glad we did because we didn't receive our main courses until almost an hour later. We were surprised that it took so long for Thai food, but it tasted delicious and was of good quality.
