We attended this restaurant as it was recommended to us and we were completely blown away by the food. The meals were well thought out, well balanced and totally delicious. The staff were all sweet, knowledgeable and attentive. Our only regret is that we booked towards the end of our visit to Yamba so we were unable to go back again another night. Try the Macadamia Butter Martini! Holy smokes.

Karrikin is amazing!! My partner and I visit every time we’re in Yamba. We love the vibes, beautiful natural wines, authentic service and outstanding food. The set menu using only local in season ingredients is always a good time, for any diet. They go above and beyond I even left my jacket there and they posted in back to me in Melbourne. Incredible place and value for the experience. Highly recommend.

Beautiful dinner for our anniversary…set menu of 4 courses for $70 with the option of an additional starter. The presentation and quality of high standard. Great selection of cocktails… can recommend the Comquat Sour. Drinks a tad on the expensive side. Wait staff pleasant and informative. Good choice of music but too loud in the courtyard, so we sat on the street, which lacked the ambiance.I don’t know why restaurants think we want loud music while eating and chatting. We were overcharged by $70 which was very disappointing…when questioned they refunded the overcharge in cash. Certainly surprising. Worth a visit, but check the menu first as it is set and lacks options for those with alternative tastes or dietary requirements. This restaurant came highly recommended, however this will be a one off for us.

The four-course set menu includes a snack, entree, main, and dessert. We also ordered their sourdough accompanied by macadamia butter. They even catered to our picky 11-year-old with fancy chicken nuggets and chips, which we greatly appreciated. Our two teenagers thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. It was a wonderful experience in Yamba, and I highly recommend it. I completely disagree with some reviews claiming the portion sizes were small; the four-course meal was more than enough for dinner, and the servings were perfectly appropriate for a set menu. We left feeling very satisfied. Numerous happy customers expressed their gratitude to the chef and staff as they finished their evening. You would be fortunate to find such a high-caliber restaurant in Sydney or Brisbane—it's truly a gem in Yamba!

The only drawback was the small portion sizes in the set menu. However, the food was absolutely delicious! The Mango-infused Prawns were the standout dish for our large group, closely followed by the Kingfish paired with a unique and tasty cabbage side. There’s also a great selection of beers and drinks available, including the best gin and tonic I've ever had! The service was efficient, and we enjoyed the lovely outdoor setting.
