What User doesn't like about Santiago's:
I complimented and thanked the 2 men standing at the window in the kitchen, they didnt respond. Just stood there staring almost angrily at me. It was really off putting. I asked for a chicken taco instead of beef and the waitress said I dont think he does that. I assume it was one of the non responsive men. Way too much cheese...on everything even the tamale. The tacos were stuffed full and filled with great flavor.... View all feedback.
This restaurant offers excellent authentic Mexican cuisine served by friendly staff. The well-stocked bar boasts over 100 tequilas, along with outstanding margaritas and a good selection of local beers, all at very affordable prices. While the exterior of the restaurant is intriguing, it doesn't reveal just how spacious and inviting the interior is. Having been in operation since the early 1980s, the restaurant had to rebuild after a fire destroyed much of the historic building, but they managed to save their cherished recipes. The menu features both specialty and seasonal dishes, alongside beloved classics that are always well-received. If you're a fan of mole, you won’t be disappointed. I can't wait to return!
The food was outstanding, and there was no chance of leaving hungry. The staff was attentive, and we had no difficulty securing a table on a Saturday night. Plus, they had an impressive selection of beers.
I just dined at this restaurant, and it was a lovely experience. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, and we appreciated the privacy provided by the booths. The portions were generous. I ordered the Cancun, while my husband tried the Steak Enchiladas and Chili Relleno. We both enjoyed our meals, and it was clear that cheese is a favorite ingredient here. If you’re a fan of savory dishes, you will absolutely love these delightful meals. Be prepared to take home a doggy bag, as it’s hard to finish everything! I would definitely give this restaurant two enthusiastic thumbs up!

The salsa tasted fresh and like one made in Olympia which is a favorite in our home. The service was great from both the hostess and the server. Honestly we wont go back there are other better options in the area.
Cool atmosphere and an extensive tequila menu but the food is only average. Also, the portion sizes are ridiculously huge. I got their burrito special and it was ENORMOUS . Probably weighed several pounds. I wonder about quality when they give you a huge pile of food like that and there's no way a single human could ever eat that much.
