But I was left with a sour taste in my mouth if I’m honest. 2 years ago I wrote a review on this place, and had the exact same problem. Food is a passion of mine, and when I go out, I like to order whatever I want. Half way through ordering, the waiter told me I’d ordered too much (again) it’s tapas, me and my wife ordered a steak each and 3 side dishes of tapas each to sample. He didn’t want us to order 2 x tenderloin, but I have mine medium and my wife has hers well done, so what am I to do? He tried to stop us ordering at 6 dishes total, and my wife actually felt really uncomfortable and said she wasn’t ordering anymore and to leave it, but I was quite insistent that she got what she wanted. The whole thing really annoyed me at the time with the way he handled it! It blew my mind, I’d understand if the bill came to €500, but it was €124 and we fed 2 small kids as well. The calamari was great, as was the fried cheese with blueberry compot. Wife’s tenderloin was perfect, mine was practically raw (but another waiter noticed this and brought me a hot grill out). Batter on the fish was a bit soft, Canarian potatoes lacked salt. The caprese salad here is amazing. We came here a few days ago as well and the lady taking our order also stopped us before the end and said we’d ordered too much, but I just said it’s fine if we don’t eat it, and then she carried on. But last night, the guy did make us feel really uncomfortable about it and it’s made me not want to go back when we return! The 1 star review is in the hope it makes a bit of an impact and they stop doing it! Side note, we booked a table for 7.30, and the first dish of Canarian potatoes didn’t come out until 8.30, but they did rush our youngest daughters omelette through for us.
