Spoilt by regular customers getting preferential treatment of food choices and an end of meal chuppito and us holiday maker being given just the basics. Food was ok, service fast but certainly not with good grace and a smile. Really would not recommend due to the above which is a shame because it really could have been a nicer experience.

An exc... read more Only a small restaurant booking essential. Tucked away just off the main square in the centre of Jalon, Del Hierro serves traditional Mediterranean food. An excellent three course meal including wine will cost around 30 euros per person. Recommend the pate and fish.

The service was very good and the... read more We were 2 couples and decided to eat close by our house in Jalon. The restaurant is small and cozy with a nice Spanish touch. The service was very good and the quality of the food really surprised us. Warm bread was served followed by our starters of very good quality. The main course for us was a piece of high quality meat on a hot stone, which seems to be their speciality. Price wise very affordable and a very high value for money rating. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone that want very good food for a very reasonable price. They even have a few tables outside but I like the inside atmosphere much more.
