Alebrije Mexican Grill - Wyomissing

We've been coming to Alebrije's for years. The food was delicious. The reason for three stars was simply the service. The waiter was very pleasant and our order was taken right away. The drinks and food came pretty quickly. He checked on us to makesure there were no issues with our order and to refill our drinks and then didn't stop back to our table for over 30 minutes. Itwasn't that busy and we saw several waiters behind the bar. We wanted to order fried ice cream for dessert and we almost skippedit due to the long wait. Finally, we were able to order, but after the ice cream arrived, he again didn't check on us foranother 20-30 minutes. We organized our table, grabbed our things, and at one point actually stood up for almost 5 minutes as wewaited for our check. I was finally able to get his attention as he walked by our table and asked him for the bill, which he hadready. We paid and left. Total time was about 90 minutes. We won't be going back for a bit, unfortunately.

My ultimate favorite restaurant around reading. I love their queso and fresh guacamole. Always have had excellent service there. You must try the fajita quesadilla.

It was an excellent experience. I've never had duck tacos before, and they were tender and delicious. The Poblano soup was fabulous. I'm very pleased with this restaurant!

I spent over $100 on drinks and takeout, and the meal was disappointing! The red meat was particularly unappetizing.

I absolutely love this restaurant! I ordered the Burrito Alebrije with chicken, and it was outstanding. The food is excellent, and the service is both quick and courteous. Our server was very attentive to our needs. If you're looking for great Mexican cuisine, this is the place to go!
