I ordered takeout and the food was way too spicy for me despite ordering no spice. I have a hard time with spice because of a health condition. I called and they fixed it for me at no additional charge. In these times and despite their own struggles, I thought they were very friendly and went above and beyond. Food was great as well! What Andrew Y doesn't like about Sweetie Thai:
Awful food with awful owners. Dirty appearance, flavor profile is lacking, and customer service is poor. With so many great options for Thai food in West Michigan, there is no reason to come here. Your money is better spent elsewhere. View all feedback.
The place is clean. The food is freshly made. The menu is limited, but most of the classics of Thai are there. Price is very reasonable and service is good. Setting is plain, but very clean.
Amazing quality Thai food! Sweet and attentive service, clean establishment, all good. I had the medium spicy Tom Ka and it was dragon level hot! Oh so delicious though. So watch out if you are normally a medium spice person. Tried the Pad Thai and was delighted to find that they don't sugar it up like a lot of other American Thai restaurants. Give them yer money!
I stumbled upon this restaurant a few years ago and decided to try it out. Since then, I have continued to come back. I enjoy spicy food, while my friend Tom does not. Luckily, the menu offers the option to choose the level of spice for each dish. The service is consistently excellent. I highly recommend Aroy Thai Restaurant!
I was absolutely impressed by the quality and attention to detail put into the food at this charming restaurant! Both the taste and presentation were top-notch in my opinion. Although it took a bit longer than expected, it was well worth the wait and the price was reasonable.
Last night, we decided to try out this restaurant. As soon as we sat down, we noticed that the place was in desperate need of a thorough cleaning. I ordered Tom Yum soup, my fiancé got Sesame Chicken, and our son had Chicken Fried Rice. We also ordered Crispy Tofu as an appetizer, but it had no flavor at all, which was a big disappointment. The soup took 30 minutes to arrive, followed by the fried rice and sesame chicken 20 minutes later. Unfortunately, both my fiancé and I are feeling unwell today, likely due to the food. Luckily, our 5-year-old seemed to enjoy his fried rice without any issues. The server was friendly but clearly overwhelmed, as there seemed to be a shortage of staff. Considering how dirty the dining area was, I can only imagine what the kitchen must look like.
