I came back a second time, on my short trip to Auckland, as I enjoyed the first visit so much. I had the 'Fish and Chips ' appetizer, which was raw fish on a homemade cracker (yum) and an amazingly prepared pork chop. Entire staff was friendly and helpful, not only with menu suggestions, but also with local venues to experience! View all feedback.
Amazing!! We ate very well!! Every plate was interesting, well balanced and with a good taste. The service was excellent as well!

The most amazing experience here. Such a wonderful atmosphere and the waiter had great food and wine recommendations. The crab spaghetti was divine and the cocktails were delicious!
Great selection of drinks, and the snacks are top notch. The Lodge Bar introduced me to my new favourite wine, the Amisfield Fume Sauvignon Blanc <3
Outstanding restaurant near the waterfront . The food was superb , in fact so good we went two nights in a row. The Michelin star chef from NY has created some divine dishes to tempt the pallet. The bar person has created some one off cocktails . If you like sweet try ‘ Not your average Pav ‘. Or gin-gernut. The little prawn tartlets were stupendous I could have eaten them all night . Fish amazing and pork to die for . If you want something different for dessert try the Specaloos cake . It’s divine . Each dish has bursts of flavour and textures to tempt the tastebuds . The staff were excellent and attentive and Jay should get an award for friendliest ever in a restaurant . We’re ready for a third visit to try more when next in Auckland . .
