This is an amazing lunch place, and has served as my steady go-to place for a quick healthy lunch for a while... the taco salad is simply superb, and I just get the vegetarian option with beans, guacamole, rice, tomato etc... They have a great upstairs area and overall really fun and convenient. I would be lost without them and so would many other amateur diners in the area! View all feedback.
Well priced, excellent, friendly service. A lot of food!!!
Food: Good-sized portions for regular burritos when extra meat is added. Came to around $13 and considering portion size not expensive. Downside is that burrito was heavy with all the cheese and yellow cream topping. Ask it to be removed if not your preference.<br/ <br/ Atmosphere/Interior: food truck. <br/ <br/ Service: Ok<br/ <br/ Parking: City. No parking available.
Got the taco salad which tasted pretty good. Efficient service and convenient location. Lots of seating and the upstairs area is nice and sunny.
Mexicali Fresh always do a good burritos, nachos and salad. Tucked on the corner of Wellesley and Hobson St, this place was quiet around lunch time on a Sunday. The staff was friendly and the food they make for us is delicious and has generous fillings. Great that Mexicali does reward programme, you can save points to get discounts for your next purchase.
Wishing that their was one of these in Wellington. Hutt Valley. (hint, hint : There was a place in Texas called Taco Cabana, this is very similar to that place. Not fast food, but nice fresh mexican food in a cafe setting, instead of a restaurant. I enjoyed the items I purchased from the menu and was not disappointed, except for the margaritas, but they were from a machine....so no expectations really. The staff at this location were friendly and the service was great!
