Friendly service!<br/ <br/ Love the homemade banana bread, homemade pies and homemade soups!<br/ <br/ Location is very close to Auckland Library.<br/ We pop in for a fluffy treat at Little owl before we pick up books at the library.<br/ <br/

Lovely little spot that I felt I should visit in celebration of the demise of the Rutland Street Camp Grounds. Wonderful service and delicious food/coffee. I'll be back, for sure.

My favorite coffee spot, hidden from the main foot traffic but well worth taking a small detour. Very good specialty coffee at reasonable price compared to other places, good value for money. I sometimes go and grab my lunch from them and the sandwiches are always fresh and tasty and really big, also home baked carrot cake was very good and reasonably priced. Worth checking out.

Cute little spot that gets a fair bit of sun and a bit down the quieter end of the city. Decent coffee but didn't love it to be honest, bit of a slight bitter aftertaste. But I'm very particular. Counter items looked tasty and jaffle menu looked worth a try. Would pop back to give it another shot.

Rutland Street hasn't been known for much in the past, but time has brought us city dwellers a cafe worth a coffee stop. <br/ <br/ A side-street away, disconnecting itself from the bustle of Queen street is Running Horse. I suggest you too disconnect from whatever device your attached too and enjoy what Running Horse has to offer. <br/ <br/ The man behind your cup (usually Brodie) knows his stuff so be reassured that your caffeine hit is in good hands. Using Supreme Coffee Beans is always a good indication too. <br/ <br/ The space itself is a modern minimalist's dream.<br/ <br/ One worth checking out in my books.
