The hot chocolate and banana chocolate chip muffin were delicious. Normally hot chocolates I've tasted are quite similar but this one tasted like an actual bar of chocolate. The muffin was soft and fresh and full of chocolate chips.
Had walked past this cafe many times, and finally had the chance to stop by for breakfast. It is tucked away on the side of the Sofitel but has its own outdoor area.Ordered the eggs benedict with bacon which was really good. The potato hash cake was full of flavour, eggs perfectly cooked bacon nice crispy. Coffee slightly bitter, but nothing too concerning. Service was friendly
What a gorgeous place for a high tea. I went to this Cafe last to last weekend with my two girlfriends for high tea. We made a booking and requested for specific dietary requirements( different for all three), they called me back to check twice so they are very clear about that and happy to accomodate. The place feels luxurious the moment you step in and has an esthetic feel to it, very bright and has a pleasant view. The staff is really polite and welcoming. However, I didn't want to have any hot beverage and requested for a juice for which costed me a $9. Yeah, bit of a pinch might have had a champagne instead. Have to say the juice was extremely refreshing. Everything they served from mushroom quiche to finger sandwiches also their crossoint are very flavoursome. There were more scones and sweet stuff compared to savory though. For me the coconut strawberry panacoda was the hero it was delicious. We spent good 3 hours there and had an enjoyable experience. Definitely going back!
Came here for lunch on a sunny Spring weekday. Service was nice and prices weren’t too steep. It’s a great place by the waterfront when the weather’s nice.<br/ <br/ I ordered a soba noodle salad, which came with a whole bunch of veges. It had a nice sesame-based sauce, and overall felt like a healthy oriental salad. It was filling but didn’t make me feel bloated.<br/ <br/ My colleagues had the waffles (which can be made gluten-free). The berry version comes with ice cream, which would be very tempting once summer rolls around!
This cafe is part of the Sofitel hotel and as you would expect from the Sofitel does food and coffee expertly. Its one of the few places that's open at 7am in the weekends and does great coffeeMy go to food here is the ham and cheese baguette, just ham of the bone and swiss cheese in a fresh, buttered, crunchy baguette...perfectYou can sit outside if the weather's nice and it has a lovely outlook over the water.Parking can be tricky during the week
