10/10 breakfast. like eating food from an old barbie movie. very nice staff and calm atmosphere. only thing to be improved is please have something to stir the jugs of dairy free milks because the stuff sinks to the bottom and you end up with watery milk.
I had the best pumpkin soup in a long long time at Aria...the bread rolls given with the soup were divine. I ordered 6 more rolls...dipped in soup it was a taste from heaven. Met Nick, the Executive Chef and conveyed my appreciation for this amazing pumpkin soup.
Nice food and friendly staffs, cheap smiles and greetings yet still giving you space for your privacy and peace whilst you enjoying food. I have been roaming around for food since 11 in the afternoon and enjoying a small dish yet enjoyable, if you in the same happened with me, you probably want to choose fish pàte. Cripsbread with the smokefish and sour cream are just legend! Salad is kinda look normal until you got the bite of sweetened grape mix with them. It’s definetely heaven and plus you can still make space for dessert after that delightful meal. I chose chocolate platter, macaron and raisin cake was kinda slow but wait until you get a spoon of the rest 2 bites (which i forgot what was their name, they placed at the very end left and right of the dish) Ohh ofcourse rose lover like me definitely satisfied with house wine The Ned that was recommended by the waiter, not too dry yet still flavorful of berries and cinnamon. I am fully recommend this restaurant for your culinary stopover.
This is the Crowne Plaza’s restaurant. Dinner- The food and service are okay. The only complaint I would have is the Hapuka fish $34] was much too salty. There is salt on the table, people can always add it, but you can’t take it out so restaurants should be careful not to overdo it. The roast vegetables $9] were very good- I recommend them. The carrot and cauliflower soup of the day $18] served with sourdough bread and the farro salad $19.50] were fine. There are plenty of wine choices with a glass $12 and up. If you are an IHG member they take 10% off the bill. The breakfast buffet there is excellent with many choices. There is an omelet station, cappuccinos and other coffees, a wide selection of teas including many loose ones and tea pots, lots of fruit choices, cereals, various nuts, lots of pastries, muffins and good banana bread, good breads including tasty whole grain ones, low fat and soy milk, a juicer/smoothie machine with vegetables, ginger, etc. to use in it. One morning there was salad, smoked salmon and curried vegetables but not the other day.

Had the buffet breakfast after our stay in town to see the Cabaret, There was so much choice on the buffet and I asked for an Original Omelette , which was a cheese and tomato which I received in no time . The hash browns were a bit tough, it seemed like the old batch hadn't been cleared before the new batch but that was the only downside . Awesome start to the day. Had two meals at the restaurant (were staying at the hotel). Can highly recommend the venison. Sensational. The wait staff are amazing in this hotel. Nothing to too much trouble for them.
