Took advantage of being in Wynnum early evening to sample a local restaurant option. Chose Cedar and Pine after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor... and thoroughly glad that we did. Took advantage of being in Wynnum early evening to sample a local restaurant option. Chose Cedar and Pine after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor... and thoroughly glad that we did. Staff were super friendly, food great, plus an extensive drinks menu. Our favourites were the coconut prawns (on special), the meatballs and the fish tacos. We were there as a family (teenage child); would also suit date night, larger groups and functions (the back room was reserved for a private function when we were there). Thoroughly recommend.
Absolutely love this little bar, from its friendly staff to amazing tapas menu it wouldn't be out of place in a inner city laneway. Both the cocktails and craft beers are also of note. We have been a few times now with friends, and it's one of those great suburban bars that has a great following of locals. This little bar is simply brilliant in every way
Popped in recently for a few drinks and a bite to eat. Prices are reasonable and there's a nice ambience to the place. Staff are very good but the beer garden is a little cramped but adequate. Right in the heart of Wynnum.
Have visited this place a few times now and always enjoyed ourselves. The wine selection is amazing for a suburban bar, the cocktail list is a good one and the tapas offerings are super delicious and fresh, unlike some other tapas bars I've been to where frozen then deep fried or served out of a tin is the norm. Great, friendly service and very cool decor. I took a friend from Melbourne here and she was very impressed so that says a lot!Look out for the Pimms and watermelon icypoles on Saturday afternoons in summer - YUM.

Cedar and Pine, a fantastic little venue that wouldn 't be out of place in any inner city habitat. With its ever changing tapas menu with some of the tastiest morsels paired with a great wine list and great range of boutique beers this is a real diamond in this bayside suburb not to mention the great staff who have been so welcoming to locals and guests. Having recently relocating from 'inner city living ' in a sea change this little bar is our oasis and can 't speak highly enough of it. A must try for all
Cedar and Pine is the best place in Wynnum. The service is great, the staff are very friendly, and the food is excellent. I had no issues asking for extra eggs, as they were more than happy to accommodate me. The coffee is fantastic, the best in Wynnum. I will definitely be returning to Cedar and Pine.
Exactly what the area needs!. I went to Cedar and Pine for the first time last night and was really impressed. I am surprised by the negative reviews which seem quite harsh on a wonderful new business. But then again if you are the kind of person that feels disappointment when you get fries instead of chips maybe this type of venue isn't for you. We had a great night. The venue was simple but vibrant, the staff were attentive and very welcoming and everyone seemed to be appreciating having such a cool little bar on their door step in Wynnum. The wine was lovely and well priced and this will definitely be a regular! We are yet to try the day time fare but that will be happening very soon for sure. I think this place will change the face of Wynnum for the better and this is only the start for this great new little venue. Highly recommend it and hope that the locals continue to support it.
Cedar and Pine are the quintessential suburban funky cafe. Fabulous staff, great selection of drinks, and the food is always very tasty. Love the decor and theming. A truly exceptional job of building this into an exceptional and well loved local business in Wynnum.
Fantastic for an evening drink. The staff are friendly and the decor is terrific. We definitely need more places like this in Wynnum and Manly. I just wish they had some slightly cheaper wines on the list, as it's so expensive to go out these days and enjoy a drink.
