We cannot wait to come back. I am taking my business partners for business lunches and dinners. I support black-owned businesses and cannot wait to support with my corporate account! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Metropolis:
The bar was closed. Website and open table never updated BYOB, there was no one in the restaurant. It was very dark. The menu was also not what was displayed and they used plastic goods in small plastic bags like a place to go or Wawa. Apparently they are under renovation. Would not recommend based on our experience. View all feedback.
Just so happen my reservations for another restaurant fell through I accidentally came across this restaurant. The ambience was so welcoming the food ?? omg the food was soo good with a xtra side of “dam the portions are ?”, the bonus its black owned.Parking: Its in the towers complex so the parking is scarce, but well worth it
Food is delicious but wait time is long. This is a BYOB establishment. Parking is great. If the wait was not so long I'd give it 5 stars
Don't eat here they don't respect they costumers and they food isn't good
The food was good, but the service left much to be desired. It wasn't that the staff was unfriendly; rather, they were slow and inattentive. I had a Saturday reservation, but they tried to offer me items from the Friday menu, despite having several signature dishes available. What made it even more frustrating was that the restaurant was nearly empty, with fewer than 10 patrons, yet it still took over 90 minutes to receive our food, service, and the bill after our 7 PM reservation. While the food was enjoyable enough for me to consider giving them another chance, it ultimately depends on whether I can get my check in a timely manner next time.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor of a high-rise apartment building, which made getting to the parking lot a bit strange, as it feels like you're driving through an apartment complex. Just keep circling around until you find it. Once inside, you'll notice that the restaurant is quite spacious, reminiscent of a venue where one might host a dinner party or reception. The staff was friendly and very helpful with the menu, as some items are only available on certain days. The menu I posted featured a Friday special. The garlic butter mussels were generously coated in sauce, although they were a bit overcooked, which is not surprising since this isn’t primarily a seafood restaurant. The real highlight was the salmon and shrimp Alfredo pasta. I didn’t order it initially, but I had to get it to go after tasting some from my friend's plate—it was that good! The Caesar salad was also delicious. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice spot to relax with their own drinks while enjoying great food. I gave it four stars, but I do think the BYOB policy should be more clearly advertised on their website or Facebook page.
