What User doesn't like about Rice Garden:
This restaurant used to be excellent. However, they recently changed management and now their fried rice and Teriyaki chicken are actually sesame chicken and brown rice. It's disappointing that they're not serving traditional Chinese dishes anymore. It's time to find a new Chinese restaurant after years of loyalty. I would recommend staying away from this place. Me and my family order here once every week sometimes every two weeks, like their food. It's hot, fresh and everything you want your food to be, but today I ordered and their prices has increased quite a bit within a week. I was told they are under new management now. Just be aware before ordering that the prices are not the same. Family of 6 was $63.00. But we only ordered 5 meals since my two younger kids shareSo I don't believe I'll be ordering again any time soon because of the extreme increase in pricing.
I got the lemon chicken and it was definitely frozen for a long time, and just warmed up. The outside had freezer burn and the chicken was extremely dry, with zero flavor or lemon. It was very hard to chew since it was just warmed up after being frozen for a long time. When we walked in, the chef was staring at us like he didn’t like us. I think he judged us, and gave us bad food on purpose.
We have ordered quite a few times, and have always enjoyed it. They give large portions, and the different dishes we have gotten have always been good. We also get the same delivery person, who is super sweet
Amazing Chinese food! I love the food. Great quality. The only Chinese restaurant I order from in Wylie. The beef with broccoli, general tso chicken and shrimp lo mein is fantastic.
Tonight for dinner I understand that inflation prices are rising, but a head up would be good to inform us of the shares they give us. ordered 3 dinner plates and received the midday size, which are smaller because they are usually for lunch. ordered also sweet and acidic chicken and they forgot to put the sosse with him we just got simple bun.
