Hidden away in a large pub in High Wycombe, A Taste of Thai is a rare find. While the menu may offer standard Thai dishes found in other restaurants, the quality of the cooking sets this place apart. The fish cakes and vegetable spring rolls were bursting with fresh, spicy, and subtle flavors, especially when paired with the homemade sweet chili sauce. The Tom Yam gai was delightful, and the Massaman curry was prepared according to a 16th-century recipe researched by the young and knowledgeable chef. We visited for lunch and were impressed by the food, though we are curious about the evening ambiance. Takeaway options are also available. Overall, A Taste of Thai offers a culinary experience that is both delicious and affordable. We will definitely be returning for more.
