Busy little cafe with locally sourced food and affordable prices. We were visiting the Hall so wanted a quick bite at around 12.30pm. After a 5 min wait in line we ordered the soup, Chinese pork and two coffees. The food was delivered to the table in less than 5 mins and was excellent. Each bowl came with a nice chunk of fresh bread. View all feedback.

The new restaurant building was very tastefully done. The coffee was OK but that’s where the experience for me ended. A very uninspiring menu unless you like baked potatoes or frozen sandwiches. Horrible place to visit !! Staff here are pure racist and very unwelcoming and I have stopped my NT membership. Utterly rude staff to foreign tourists
As always National trust grounds and houses are wonderful places to visit BUT never ever eat at any of the cafes if you value food, the choices are poor, the sandwiches mostly half frozen, the choice is abysmal and the prices are shockingly high, I learned my lesson 20 years ago when my children were small and sad to say that a recent visit to Hanbury with my Uncle and Cousin visiting from Australia has only confirmed that things have not changed, we were so embarrassed that our visitors were served such awful fare. Take a flask and your own- if you don’t you will regret it I promise you!
