I've just been here for the first time, with a large group for our Christmas get together.Some ate from the Christmas menu, some from the ordinary one, so a right mixture.Not only was the food excellent, in quality and portion size, but the service and organisation exceeded my expectations.Thanks especially to our waitress (whose name I didn't catch).We will be back

The restaurant gave us a warm welcome, offered indoor seating that was dog-friendly, had press button ordering, provided fast service, served delicious food, and presented a very reasonable bill. It was the most efficiently-run pub lunch we've ever had! Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you.

We traveled from the North West and picked this restaurant based on its proximity to where we were staying. It turned out to be a delightful surprise! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu had a great selection of traditional British pub food, as well as a specials board. We tried the gammon steak, which was possibly the best I've ever had. It was not too salty, but thick and juicy with very little fat. It came topped with two fried eggs and a choice of vegetables or chips. The desserts were fantastic, especially the lemon crunch and sticky toffee Sunday. The prices were reasonable and we would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good traditional pub food served hot by attentive and friendly staff.

The staff is friendly, the food is superb, and overall it's a great place to enjoy a delicious pub meal. I have been there several times and have never had a bad meal.
