While some guests rave about the expertly cooked Tomahawk steak and delightful Sunday roasts, others have expressed dissatisfaction with tasteless dishes and unseasoned meals. The attentive staff seem to shine, with many patrons appreciating their helpfulness, even during busy times. The pub’s cozy ambiance and generous vegan options enhance its appeal. Though experiences vary, The Bell remains a primary choice for those seeking a homey dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds and welcomes guests, even furry ones.
My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend at The Bell. The room was cozy and spotless. But the highlight was the delicious food! We enjoyed a cooked breakfast every morning, which was just right. The dinner we had on our first night was so good that we ended up going back for more on other days. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. If we lived closer, The Bell would definitely be one of our top choices for dining out.
Delicious melt in the mouth steak. Quality and attentive service. Fully recommend a visit for a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Shout out to all staff.
Menu looks great, however food was tasteless and not cooked well. Ended up having to send it back! Waitress was friendly but not experienced in how to wait at all. Complained to manager, no sorry, just tried telling us that the food was fine! Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!
This charming pub in a charming village is comfortable and friendly. We didn't stay for dinner because we already had another reservation, but the menu looked very enticing.
We had the Tomahawk steak tonight which was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The blue cheese and port sauce was exceptional as was the sticky toffee pudding to follow. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall an excellent meal.
