Contribute FeedbackThe Angel Inn in Pershore elicits mixed reactions from visitors. While many praise the warm, friendly staff and delicious local dishes paired with fantastic English ales, others recount unfortunate experiences that cast a shadow on their visits. Issues such as unpleasant seating arrangements, disruptive wildlife encounters, and disappointing food quality have been noted. However, the private dining options have garnered positive feedback, suggesting an allure for special occasions. Ultimately, the restaurant's charm lies in its cozy atmosphere and attentive service, making it a pleasant choice for drinks and meals, though some advise skirting certain rooms and menu items.
I stayed at this restaurant for a night and it was a great value for the money. The staff was very friendly and the bar was beautiful. Nathan and Sandra were very helpful. Compared to other hotels in and around Cheltenham, this restaurant is definitely recommended. Keep up the good work! Thank you for hosting us.
During our visit to Pershore with friends over the New Year, we made several visits to this restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious local produce, fantastic English ales, and cozy real fire. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
For years to go to the angel, and visited a month ago and end December both paintings with the suppe and sandwich option and a coffee, the coffee has changed and served in a smaller cup that disappoints me. suppe is still beautiful, but the sandwich is very simple and only half not trimmed quarters and no special brot, only hovis brown, really think they could better
We booked a private dinning room at the Angel on Saturday December. We had the cider room. The meal was fantastic and so was the service. It was perfectly timed not too quick and not too long between courses. The private dinning room is...lovely and really great value for money as was the course meal with mince pies after. It was honestly a perfect meal spent with my family.
Stayed overnight at the angel Inn Pershore, a mistake, although the staff were good, food and drink ok, the room Bricklehampton was awful. We were right next to a fan which was very noisy from to just gone this the bin men arrived right below us, As for the room there was a light either side of the television so with them on you couldn't Watch the television , the bed was the worst I've ever slept in the middle bits of the taps which have hot and cold on kept falling out, and thd headboard on the bed had a mark not sure what but not nice, Have a drink and a meal there but don't stay in that room, it was enquired if the reason we had a bad room was because we went through booking. Com, no answer was given. We will not encourage people to go there and we won't stay there again.
