At Ashdown Park Hotel, diners have experienced a blend of extraordinary moments and significant disappointments. While some commend the exceptional service and delightful meals for special occasions, including a memorable anniversary lunch, others criticize the underwhelming quality of certain dishes, suggesting a disparity between high prices and food execution. Additionally, concerns about the restaurant's COVID-19 safety measures and organizational efficiency have emerged. With a stunning setting and a dedicated staff, the restaurant holds potential, yet it struggles to consistently deliver the fine dining experience that patrons expect.

Was Zac L at Anderida a mag?
We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant in a fantastic location. The service was exceptional and personalized, with a special shoutout to our waiter Bobby and the team. The food was delicious, and we highly recommend dining here for dinner. It was well worth the price of £60-70 per person. Overall, we give it a perfect score of 5 for food, service, and atmosphere. What Pamela Munday Chanin dislikes about Anderida:
We paid £89 for a Boxing Day lunch and it felt like a rip-off. The cauliflower soup was bland, the roast potatoes were reheated, the beef was overcooked, the Yorkshire pudding tasted like cardboard, and there was no cranberry sauce. It was unbelievable. The environment was nice and we dined at the Brasserie in October, but unfortunately, we will not be returning.Service: Dine-inMeal type: Lunch View all feedback.

Really disappointing. One underwhelming course after the other. A slab of cold goats cheese followed by over cooked linguine with no pesto (as advertised) and a selection of bland cheeses on dry biscuits (the grapes were the highlight of this course). I expected fine dining but the most enjoyable thing about it was the olive bread and butter. The piano playing was very nice. The quality and execution of the food does not tally with the high prices. What a shame.
To celebrate our 47th Wedding Anniversary we decided to lunch at the Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club. For under £20.00 per head we had the most delicious 2 course meal with unlimited coffee. The service could not be faulted, there was no waiting and the staff were both courteous and attentive. An anniversary to remember.
I visited this restaurant with my grandchild. It is poorly organized. If you order from the regular menu instead of the daily specials, it can take up to an hour to get an appetizer. The food is subpar, with risotto that tastes like oatmeal, a fillet filled with sardines, and "chicken wings" that are actually three tiny, overly spicy pieces of meat. This restaurant is overrated and does not live up to the building it is housed in. They have the potential to improve their offerings.
