Gong-Bao Buffet - Wullen

It was the first time I eat there....honestly as Indonesian, I am satisfied with all the foods....quite okay with the price (we tried buffet all you can eat) but the drinks.....come on I just feel they are too expensive....hmmmm

Gong-Bao is in a suburb of Dortmund, and well liked by the locals who eat lunch and dinner on a regular basis, and by business people and professionals from the nearby university.For a while, the chinese buffet which was here before overdid it with the MSG to a point where you felt like a hot air balloon and could not face the memory of the food for a long time.NOW the food has much improved.A great selection of sushi, meat, poultry AND fabulous vegetables. The veggies are so good that I pass the meat and fsh (both look delicious) for the hot plate dinner cooking.Finish with super ice creams, and the chocolate fountain... great meal for one, or 15 on a table.Lunch offers less choice, but hey- 10 Euro including tea or water? Better than canteen or cooking.I invited family here twice this month- and everybody was happy.

My family arranged to meet at Gong Bao for an evening meal, on arriving the entrance is rather impressive, inside even more so. Once at our table and drinks were ordered we went to the buffet and the choices were fantastic, you can choose from fresh strays, kangaroo, octopus and other meats and fish also fresh vegetables which is all cooked there and then for you or you can have food which is already prepared such sweet & sour pork. The price of the buffet pro person was great value as you can return to the buffet as often as you wanted too on you visit.I personally would recommend at visit where it be just a couple or a whole family it's worth, enjoy the taste of China and Mongolian kitchen.

The Mengu Buffet is a very good restaurant where the food is always warm, quickly filled and the service is great. Go!
