In Dortmund Eichlinghofen, near the university, we have encountered the Acropolis Grill, which is run by Jannis and Tanja, a couple. At the same time we were kindly greeted, it was almost as if you were visiting friends. The restaurant has a bright, friendly guest room with very comfortable chairs. What we immediately noticed was that the rooms are extremely clean. From the outside, the operation is rather small. The exhibited salads etc look crisp and fresh, but a huge surprise is the menu, because there are not only Greek, but also Italian dishes, and also what one expects in Germany in a grill house Schnitzel, Currywurst etc. With the friendly greeting it was not done, even the advice and acceptance of the order were very customer-friendly, both by owner and service. Even when the menu was overfed, it was noticed that prices really kept within the framework. With me the eyes were bigger than the belly, because I ordered the boss plate without asking me more. It costs 13€, but it is also enough for two people. A plentiful selection of different meats, wonderfully crispy and well seasoned pommes, with a fresh mixed salad. It was particularly appealing that when ordering it was asked for special wishes which salads, Mayo yes or no, onions, Tsatsiki. This is not self-evident. Now my boss Teller was so big that I had half the meat portion packed for me to take. We haven't been the last time in this grill. He also seems to be quite well-known, because other guests with whom we came to talk completely forcibly told us that members of the BVB are also going there. For those who are sometimes nearby, highly recommended.
