eating and service in this restaurant were both pretty good. I had kartoffelknödel in a few restaurants in bayern, and their were the hands down the best. in comparison to the other mid-range restaurants I visited during my one week trip in Germany, this place was the most expensive and the portion was the smallest. in the restaurant there was an appropriate social dissection. What Knut Moser doesn't like about Weinstuben Juliusspital:
Hektische Begrüßung, furchtbares Risotto und Wildgulasch von wirklich niederster Fleischqualität. Früher einmal ein gute Alternative zum Bürgerspital, heute nur noch Enttäuschung. Mein Tipp: Ratskeller mit freundlicher Bedienung, guter Lage und Qualität beim Essen. Natürlich ist auch das Bürgerspital gut, wenn auch etwas teuer. View all feedback.

Quite normal German eating in a beautifully decorated atmosphere, local weine. the ingredients were not of best quality. the service was friendly and timely.
A very nice weinstube. Good food and very nice wine. Very friendly service also for kids. Price quality ratio very good
We were having a wander and selected Weinstuben Juliusspirtal on a whim and we weren't disappointed! The atmosphere was stunning, it felt authentically old with high wood panelling. The food was delicious the wine, their specialty, was obviously an absolute treat and the wait staff...was friendly, knowledgeable and very encouraging of our attempts at German!
The atmosphere of the restaurant is peacful and the waiters are professionals and the wines also excellent.
