Was Peter Grambs at Mpn a mag?
What a great place. Just had an event here and the food, the pizza and the service couldn’t have been better. Kenny was a great host and they make their pizzas to perfection. Can’t say enough good things about Mission Pizza. And we had a friend who had some dietary restrictions and they were so accommodating it was awesome. It just doesn’t get better than this. We had the Pizzakasse at the bar with the wine pairings. If you get a craving for pizza, you should treat yourself and go all in for the pizzakasse. You are at the mercy of Chef's creative diabolical notions with a very thought out wine pairing. Sit, come hungry, You'll have a great time!
Truly the best pasta dish I have ever had! We did the pre fixe menu and everything was phenomenal but the pasta was out of this world.
Great date place. Consistently spectacular food. Unassuming, affordable, sexy. Prixe fixe on Thursday last included a deep arugula salad with fennel and prosciutto, a mussel dish that had me slurping up the extra broth, and a juicy version of linguine alle vongole (fresh clams, perfectly cooked) with some kind of irresistible crunchy magic that had me LICKING the outside of the damn shells. There was a basil ‘nduja pizza that slapped, and an unusual dessert for NC— a lux combo of burrata, herbs, and blistered peaches. It was gorgeous. Wine pairings were spot on. Wait staff, spot on. As always, we look forward to eating here again. Hard to believe this restaurant exists outside Berkeley or Brooklyn. Excited for Asheville and the sister-concept MPN joint that just opened at Terra Nova Beer Co…
