Tower 7 - Wrightsville Beach

Several people recommended Tower 7 to me when I told them I was coming to WB on vacay, and it completely lived up to the hype! The staff is super friendly. Our bartender was incredibly conversation able and gave great recommendations! At her suggestion, we had the Tower 7 burrito w carne, shrimp and fish tacos. The food was just insane. Their homemade sauces pair perfectly definitely ask for some picante! This place was overall just so cool. Great vibes all around!

The plain dilapidated exterior does not do justice to the lively, vibrant interior. If they're really busy, and you cannot wait to eat, you can try your luck at the bar. Instead, we came another day for dinner and were seated immediately. They have an online waitlist as well you can check ahead of time. The service was fast and friendly. We got really good chips and salsa on the house. We ordered a side of guacamole. It was cheap and did its job. My partner got the shrimp burrito which was stuffed with a lot of different ingredients. The most notable was just large slices of avocado. I got the Sizzle Fajitas. The grilled onions were so tasty. I was shocked that I couldn't stop eating them. I wanted the yellowfin tuna but in retrospect, I should've gotten any other protein. I enjoyed the sides of sour cream, tomatoes, lettuce and cheese. It would've been a 5/5 experience however the rice was actually pretty average so brought down the rating a touch. Regardless, my partner and I both agreed that if we had another night here and had to repeat our dinner spot, we would choose Tower 7 over the others (Ceviche, Flying Machine Oyster Bar, and the restaurant at the Blockade Runner).

Such a great place for a casual dinner! Although you can 't call ahead to make a reservation, you can check in online. We had a group of 6 of us on a Saturday around 6:30pm and waited a little under 45 minutes. Not a ton of seating so makes sense. Service was great! Our server was super sweet and very fast! A ton of different drinks to choose from. I ordered a spicy pineapple margarita (yummm!! , and some of my other friends ordered the prickly margarita. Decently priced for what you get. Quesadillas were amazing! Someone got a shrimp taco which they loved, and some others got the ACP. Ordered queso and guac for the table which we all enjoyed. Definitely recommend ordering the large for anyone in a group of more than 4 people. Would definitely come back! Only reason I don 't give it 5/5 stars is because of how hot it was in there! Between the humidity outside, and the heat from the kitchen- it was extremely warm.

Cool ambience and I'm sure there are better items in the menu. I asked what was the most popular and one off them was the blackened mahi mahi taco $13 it was a big one but still not worth that much for one taco. Arrived was Very friendly and fast. Absolute 10/10 for their service . We communicated their Mexican rice was bad and they offered to give me another side. Quesadilla fajita was good based on my dads opinion and my mom did like her gringo tacos . Friends said their qeso is bomb.

My favorite place in wilmington! Every time I come back to visit I have to go here. Everything from the margaritas, white queso, chips and salsa, quesadillas, so much more has me coming back over and over again. I love that it's directly off the beach access and is the perfect lunch place when you need a break from the beach or even a nice casual dinner outing. It's perfect for groups of 4 people but if you want to go with a larger group I recommend trying to go earlier to avoid a wait! Always friendly service and a great beach vibe!
