Johnnie Mercers Fishing Pier

Such a beautiful place and view we went at 7 a.m. and left at 10 a.m. We just walked around and explored I have 3 daughters, so we chased for bowls and looked at the wood to see the little barricanes and what I think are snails. And just enjoyed the view.

Nice fishing pier, free parking would be nice too, lol. Good variety, basic needs and souvenirs inside the store/grill. I think it was only a couple of dollars to walk out on the pier and $8 for each of us to fish with one rod.

Beautiful long pier made of cement! To be able to walk over the ocean and view it's gorgeous turquoise color is breathtaking. FYI: You have to pay $2 to walk on the pier but the receipt is good for 24 hours.

I love the concrete pier. Makes me feel a bit safer than the wood ones. Workers inside always seem very nice. Prices are reasonable for fishing. Do wish it offered a bit more in entertainment. Maybe a restaurant outside or a band? Also more upkeep on the pier walkways. I'm always finding hooks I have to pick up so kids don't step on them

Clean beach with ample space. We went to see sunrise and it was awesome. Don?t find any restaurants in the pier. Looks like it?s a famous place for surfing as well. We didn?t find any showers in the beach but might be there in the far side. Lots of people do fishing from the pier. Parking is available in the public access area but they are paid ones. Don?t find any other attractions near by but the beach itself is good for family.
