My family and friends met up at the restaurant on a Friday night. I was worried it would be too crowded and loud to have a conversation, but it turned out to be quieter than I expected. Since we were a big group, we had pre-ordered our food. The dishes were satisfactory overall. A few people mentioned that their steaks were a bit tough, but my ribeye was quite delicious. The service was cheerful and friendly. View all feedback.
What MelanieB35 doesn't like about Old No. 7 Grill:
Ok, I’m not normally one to write a bad review but …… what happened???? I was full of high hopes, lovely old building and could be so nice!! Tables are dirty and sticky, no atmosphere, drinks expensive and watered down eg espresso martini. Staff sat outside having a group fag!! Staff aren’t trained in the difference in wine basics… Won’t be going again. Needs new management and a shake up, I should have taken the fac... View all feedback.
This restaurant is a hidden gem owned by a wonderful chef and front of house staff who are both incredibly friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed several cocktails and beers, with the No.7 Ice Tea being a standout favorite. The Long Island Ice Tea with Jack was also delicious. The building itself is charming and there was live music that added to the great atmosphere. Despite being busy, the service was fast and friendly with a smile. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out. This is truly the best bar in Wrexham, hands down!
