What Fiona White doesn't like about Dorothy's Tearoom:
Called for coffee, decaf, weak, half shot, unfortunately it was far too strong. Staff (v nice) kindly made me another coffee, ordinary latte. Mmmm. This tea room has v good reviews for food, afternoon tea etc I can't comment on the food; no choice...of cakes when I asked. It's on busy main road, parking is an issue, but no problem for local footfall. I was disappointed with my experience. View all feedback.
I have visited this tea room several times now. It may be small, but the afternoon tea never disappoints. We enjoyed a variety of sandwiches, crisps, plain scones with jam and cream, and six different types of cakes. We couldn't finish it all, so we took the leftovers home in a box. The food was so delicious, the pictures don't do it justice.
Booked last minute to go for the afternoon. many of the choices, beautiful home made cake. very friendly staff, could not do enough. if they are highly recommended, we will definitely return there. 10/10.
What a nice groupon in the afternoon the caffe has a really cozy and cozy feeling, and everyone could not have been nicer. the effort she went so to accommodate allergies including vegan requirements was not the second. one of ours. party ran late and could not with us and they packed a beautiful goody bag for them. we will be back and can not wait to try the bid d breakfast brilliant that they offer a veggie version!
Great, expensive, Greek spoon café. food proportions are very small. on misery. cute dirty plus very cheap nasty serviettes!
Great service. warm and friendly staff. more brilliant place to have a start with good food, or just over a cuppa
